Poker Professional Twitters A Hint To Fans

High Stakes Poker Professional Phil Hellmuth used twitter to let followers know that he he might be appearing on Dancing with the Stars. In a tweet on Tuesday Hellmuth said: ‛OMG! Phil Hellmuth (me!) on ‘Dancing with the Stars!’ Outrageous! Might make a fool out of myself on worldwide television one more time.“

The hit show on ABC is heading into its 12th Season, and recently crowned Actress Jennifer Gray as the winner of season 11. She fought off competition from Bristol Palin, the daughter of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and former NFL player Kurt Warner.

Poker players have voiced their concerns that Hellmuth should be representing the poker world on the show. Posters at the popluar twoplustwo forum commented that Hellmuth could potentially create an image of poker players and professionals that was not necessarily true.

Not everyone was opposed to the idea though, with poster Maso777 saying: ‛Actually this is great news. Dancing with the Stars is very popular and Hellmuth could possibly attract new players, or have viewers curious about poker.“

Hellmuth fans will now ne waiting on news that he will appear on the show in the next season.
