Despite Black Friday, the lobbying effort for legalised online poker continues

Black Friday has not deterred the Poker Players Alliance from launching another rally and press conference fly-in on Tuesday next week.

The legalise poker advocacy group is to fly 30 of its regional directors into Washington DC, where a midday rally will be held in front of the Capitol buildings to promote the US licensing and regulation of Internet poker at the federal level.

PPA executive director John Pappas has urged poker fans who can make it to join the gathering.

The rally and press briefing will be followed Tuesday evening with a social reception and some friendly poker action.
