Bilokur snatches PCS High Roller from WSOP champ

Another blow for beleaguered Absolute Poker

The Norwegian tax authorities (Skatteetaten) have dealt another blow to the owners of Absolute Poker, claiming 180 million Kroner (around $30 million) in unpaid value added tax from Madeira Fjord, a shell company set up in Norway in 2025 to channel dividends to Absolute shareholders (see previous reports).

Lotteries and Gaming Authority takes action on misuse of its logo

The Spanish sports betting operator 21kbet reacted quickly this week when it was nailed for displaying a Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority seal to which it was not entitled. After the regulator published a warning on its website about the abuse, the operator whipped the offending seal down in a jiffy.
