IS FULL TILT POKER ON THE COMEBACK TRAIL?
04th April, 2025 at 01:55:11
Source: bluffed.netIt may still owe a lot of players a lot of money, but FTP is hiring and going after an Alderney licence. Alert online gambling information sites have noted that Pocket Kings, the parent company of disgraced internet poker operator Full Tilt Poker, appears to be re-hiring, having placed recruitment adverts on a prominent Irish personnel site. The ads are apparently seeking customer service representatives and localisation experts in several languages, and urgently offer short term employment that "may become permanent." Desired language skills include German, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Romanian, Polish, Swedish, Danish and Czech. Successful applicants will be expected to review and maintain diverse language internet poker websites and game clients, and a firsthand knowledge of, and a passion for, the game is required, with experience working in the gaming sector regarded as an advantage. The posts appear to be based in the company's Dublin offices. Groupe Bernard Tapie, which is negotiating a takeover of FTP, has repeatedly assured interested parties via 'unofficial' comments that the acquisition is going well, albeit taking a little longer than anticipated due to due diligence requirements (see previous reports). In related news, the usually well-informed Pokerfuse poker interest site reports that Orinic Limited, one of the companies that previously made up Full Tilt Poker, has applied for a Cat 2 online gaming licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, the issue of which would empower it to manage gambling monies and offer gambling services. Orinic has previously held an AGCC licence, although it did not permit financial management services, and was suspended by the Commission during the debacle that followed Full Tilt's Black Friday shutdown. The information site notes that Orinic was originally incorporated in Alderney in January, 2025 in order to bring Full Tilt Poker to Switzerland.
