Razavi and van der Fluit take home the big money in events 9 and 11

Canadian poker pro Ashkan Razavi added to his growing list of career cashes Wednesday with his biggest take-home yet - the impressive $781,398 main prize in event 9 of the 43rd World Series of Poker, a $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Re-entry competition.

In claiming the lion's share of the $4,595,400 prize pool generated by the massive entry field of 3,404 players, Razavi triumphed over a final table that included Amanda Musumeci, Derrick Huang, Ryan Olisar, Duy Ho, Brian Rast, Greg Mueller Benjamin Reinhart and Dien Le, with the six-figure prizes extending right the way down to the seventh spot.

When Derrick Huang was eliminated in 3rd Place for $347,228, it was Razavi and Amanda Musumeci facing each other in the heads up, with Razavi holding a huge 6 to 1 chip lead which proved unassailable by his plucky opponent.

Musumeci had to be content with the second placing check for $481,643.

It was Razavi's first WSOP bracelet and his biggest win yet in 12 career cashes.

In event 11, the $1,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha contest, 970 players entered, creating a prize pool of $1,309,500.

It turned out to be one of the fastest-completed competitions thus far at the 43rd World Series of Poker as Vincent van der Fluit from Utrecht in Holland demolished the opposition to claim the $265,211 first prize and his first WSOP bracelet.

It was his best reward yet in 11 tournament cashes that include Aussie Millions and EPT competitions, boosting his earnings to date to around $400,000.

It took the young Dutchman just four hours from start to finish to emerge as the winner after a brief but tense heads up against finalist Charles Tonne after the duo survived a final table that seated players from five countries: Tristan Wade, Damien Lhommueau, Alexander Dovzhenko, Rodney Brown, Brian Garbe, Calvin Anderson and David Schnettler.

The quality entry field also included aces like McLean Karr, Isaac Barron, Michael Binger, Noah Boeken, Ryan D'Angelo, J.P. Kelly, Shannon Shorr and Sorel Mizzi.

Tonne's second placing brought him a prize of $164,132.
