The Nevada Gaming Control Board is pushing for a tax on net profits earned from online poker tournaments, apparently differentiating these events from similar live tournament projects in land casinos, which are untaxed.

AC& EP introduces aceplaypoker.

American Casino & Entertainment Properties, a Nevada online poker licensee and parent group of the Stratosphere and Arizona Charlie's casinos in Las Vegas, launched free-to-play internet poker site aceplaypoker Tuesday, joining a growing number of US land operators offering such sites as a prelude to legalised online poker operations.
