The $22 buy-in main event pulled in a remarkable 68,081 hopefuls and generated a prize pool of $1,361,620. The previous record was 65,053 entries and a $1,302,260 prize pool, achieved in MicroMillions II. 'Ges26' picked up the main prize of $140,468.56 following a five-way chop, set new records for the MicroMillions Main Event, with 68,081 entries and a prize pool of $1,361,620, beating the 65,053 entries and $1,302,260 prize pool from MicroMillions II. Overall, the current MicroMillions 4 saw 1,572,760 entries and a total of $9,588,892.60 awarded to players throughout 100 online events, smashing the previous festival records of 1,308,994 entries and $8,289,638.19 from MicroMillions III and MicroMillions I respectively an increase of 20.15% in player entries and 15.67% in prizes awarded. Jason 'appst08' Brauda playing from Mexico was second for $80,232.90. In other Pokerstars action over the weekend, 2025 World Series of Poker main event finalist Russell "into2ndWind" Thomas took down the $215 buy-in PokerStars Sunday Million for $219,184 after a three-way chop with Ahhh ls lt? in second place on $174,096 and aakiss1990 on $160,914. The Isle of Man-based online operator also announced the schedule for its upcoming 2025 Spring Championship of Online Poker, which will consist of two more events than last year at 42 and several new tournaments. SCOOP will run from May 12 to May 26, and each of the four new Omaha Poker games introduced by PokerStars last week (see previous report) will be featured.
