Source: bluffed.netPatrik Partouche sets closure date for June 17 Reports earlier this month that the French Partouche Group plans to shutter its online poker site in the restricted and highly taxed French market (see previous reports) were confirmed by owner Patrik Partouche this week on both his Facebook page and on the partouche website. Partouche cited lack of profitability as the reason for the closure, and revealed that the virtual doors will be shut on June 17. Prior to that, loyalty awards will cease on June 1st, with members being encouraged to use their accrued points before then. The site was one of the first to achieve licensing in the dedicated French market. Partouche is referring its players to associated site mypok.
