Huge amount of research slows launch date

Film maker Scott Bell has given an update on his daunting project to screen a factual documentary on the UltimateBet and Absolute Poker scandal, saying that late August is now the likely release date for the full story on internet poker's biggest ever cheating scam.

In a project update detailed here:

doubleheadpictures/2013/07/02/project-status-update-lockdown/ Bell explains that the sheer volume of information that researchers have had to plough through has caused the delay in presentation, and information is still surfacing.

"This is both good and bad because for every interview/exchange, we have to bring the facts back and run them through a grinder to determine how they fit with current knowledge and make decisions on whether they change anything. It is very demanding and difficult work but I believe we are closing in on something closer to the reality of what happened at UB," Bell writes.
