It's been a tough July on the virtual nosebleed tables for Swedish online poker ace Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom'EURŠbut it all came right this week when he took on the biggest and best names online and emerged with a $1,4 million profit.
Blom started the month in fine style, pushing his profits up to $2 million before things went downhill and he lost almost all of it.
Unphased, the young Swede kept plugging away until this weekend, when skill and good cards combined to shine on his endeavours on the high stakes NLHE and FLO8 games, where he met and vanquished a slew of respected and highly accomplished nosebleed players.
Among those contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Blom retirement fund were Isaac Haxton, Gus Hansen, Kyle Ray, SallyWoo, Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius.
