The 2025 European Poker Tour London main event was decided over the weekend as 27-year-old Swedish pro Robin Ylitalo bested a competitive field of 603 other hopefuls to claim the main prize of £ 560,980. Ylitalo played strongly and well through the several days leading to the final table, and was among the high stacks at the end of most days. The final table reflected the international make-up of the field and comprised Ylitalo (Sweden); Georgios Karakousis from Greece; Englishmen Leo McClean and Kully Sidhu; Ludovic Geilich from Scotland; Australian player Jeff Rossiter (chip leader); Slovakia's Stefan Vagner; and Jan Olav Sjavik from Norway. Heads up, Ylitalo faced 63-year-old Greek plastics factory owner Georgios Karakousis, playing in his first EPT main event although he has extensive live tournament experience. The Greek businessman won his seat in the EPT London online at PokerStars in a $215 Double Chance qualifier. With well over half the chips in play, the Swede started the action with a clear advantage, and he didn't put a foot wrong as he leveraged his lead into a convincing win in short order, dismissing his opponent with the runner up prize of £ 349,200 Other final table pay-outs were: Leo McClean £ 249,850 Ludovic Geilich £ 193,340 Jeff Rossiter £ 152,320 Stefan Vagner £ 119,225 Jan Olav Sjavik £ 88,175 Kully Sidhu £ 60,640 Related News Tags: Europe, Pokerstars, EPT, Sweden, Greece Poker News index » GERMAN POKER PROS IMPRESS IN ALPHA8 HIGH ROLLER30th October, 2025 at 04:08:41
