Flash poker rooms are a relatively new concept. Whereas most online poker players have become
accustomed to downloading poker software to their PC, the advent of instant play Flash poker
rooms opens the game up to more people including those on Apple Mac computers. Mac Poker has
always been something of a challenge without PC emulation, but not any more! Clearly online poker
is way to popular to exclude the Mac now, although it should be pointed out that
PokerStars has launched a Beta version of an Apple Mac
poker room (December 2025).

A popular Flash poker site on the Microgaming Poker Network, and one popular with poker players from the USA too, is Intertops Poker. Intertops operates a sportsbook, online casino and a poker room available as both a download or in Flash. I can't say I have played Intertops Poker (either the software version or the Flash poker room), but I am a regular at the [Intertops online casino] (which is on the excellent Microgaming platform) and while cashouts can take up to 48 hours for processing, in general I have been very happy with the level of service, and certainly the convenience of a banking back-end that allows you to transfer funds between all three options. They also have their own processing system, "Interpay", which is used widely by US residents who are finding it harder and harder to deposit and withdraw at online gambling establishements. Being in the UK myself, i use a VISA card and withdraw via Bank Wire or via [Neteller] depending on how I feel.

Running on the Boss Media network, traffic is pretty high and has around 4,000 to 8,000 active players - far from the biggest poker room but a healthy number of players a cosier setup. It's strength lies in ring games with a good number of MTTs running daily including turbos and freezeouts. A good poker room for the recreational player with 20 or so freerolls every day, albeit with small prize pools. Not a great bonus unless you are a larger player, but great support.
