Doyles Room Poker was established in 2025. After migrating from the Tribeca Network, it is now a member of the Microgaming Poker Network (formerly Prima). The "Doyle" we are talking about here is of course none other than Doyle Brunson, the two-time world champion, hall of famer and godfather of poker (Ed: and guess whose met him ;)). He is naturally the featured pro player and spokesperson for Doyle's Room alongside his son Todd and Mike "The Mad Genius" Caro. There always a chance of running into these guys at the tables, beat them up good to earn extra bounty cash and prizes. Besides from being gray and gloomy, the software/poker lobby does not differ from other MG rooms at all. There's a help section, banking/promotions pages and a few flash casino games.

High NLHE traffic is what Microgaming Poker is all about and Doyle's Room is no exception. You will find plenty of NL ring game tables here, from as little as $0.02/0.05 up to $50/100 running around the clock. If you play limits up to $5/10, there's always a hundred tables or more to choose from. The majority of NL tables are short-handed but each limit does have one or more full ring game if that's what you're after. FL action is not that great, only 20-30 or so tables between $0.05/0.10 and $20/40. Games above that rarely run. The same goes for Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo, a small amount of micro-medium tables with little or no activity above $5/10. As far as Stud and Draw games go, a handful of tables usually run during peak hours, almost exclusively lower limit ones.

The Multi-table Tourney selection at Doyle's Room is very good, loads of freerolls and cheap ones run 24/7. There also a good number of tournaments with higher buy-ins for the more experienced player. MTTs with guaranteed prize pools, available from $3 and upwards, run a number of times every day and are quite popular. A bunch of freezeouts and turbo tournaments with buy-ins from as little as a single dollar up to a hundred or more also take place on a daily basis. If you are looking to satellite your way to the Sunday Showdown, the weekly $65K or Master Classics, there's quite a few cheap MTTs & STTs for you here, both regular and turbos. Just like other Microgaming sites, the Doyle's Room SnG section is really crowded. You'll find everything from super-micro 9c tables to $50 extreme turbo tables here. If you prefer STTs up to around $10, you will always find a table that's just about to start. Unlimited action for the SnGo'er, day or night.

Promotions And Support

As you read this, the best sign-up bonus at Doyles Room is 50% up to $250. For max bonus, deposit $500 and accumulate 50000 Action Points (APs). In order for this to be worth your while at all, you have to play NL or FL with blinds of $1.50/3 or above. At this level, you will earn $1 of bonus money for every 10 raked hands. Since this bonus requires you to contribute to the pot in order to receive APs, it is a lousy one any which way you look at it, so if bonuses are important you may prefer one of those on our poker bonus page. Reloads are scarce or even non-existant for many players.

Doyle's customer support division is ok. Most emails are answered quickly plus there's live help available most of the time. A freephone (only from UK) number is listed if you need immediate assistance.

Banking

For deposits into your account at Doyles Room, use Neteller, VISA/MasterCard, InstaDebit, ePassporte, FirePay, Moneybookers, InstaCash or Debit Card(most major ones will work). Withdrawals to all e-wallets are fast, never more than 24 hours which is very good. Cashouts to VISA takes around 4-5 days, pretty much average for the industry.

Conclusion

While Doyle's Room doesn't have as many players as the biggest MPN sites, it's still a fairly ok place to play. Fast cashouts, which is the most important thing to many, and good overall traffic places it just above average. Too bad about the sign-up bonus, but otherwise Doyles Room is a pretty decent poker room and of course you could bump into the man himself at the tables!
