» Click here to play Expekt Poker »Expekt Poker was established in 2025 and resides on the iPoker Network after starting out as a Prima site. After a stopover on the Tain network in 2025/2006, Tribeca (Playtech) acquired Tain and merged with iPoker, forming the new and improved current iPoker network. Expekt Poker is a part of expekt Ltd, a company perhaps better known as one of Scandinavia's and maybe Europe's leading sports betting establishments. Despite being located in Malta, Expekt Poker is not regulated by the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority but rather Kahnawake Gaming Commision, Canada. Expekt Poker's Playtech-powered poker lobby is a bit of an eyesore, grey-ish and dull without any remarkable features whatsoever. It does have a handful of casino games just like most other iPoker skins which is nice, I guess. Let's just call it functional and leave it at that.
» Click here to play Expekt Poker »Aside from the looks of the poker lobby, Expekt offers a very good selection of Hold'em ring games and traffic is generally high. In the NL section, you'll find several hundred active tables between $0.01/0.02 and $25/50. Games up to $100/200 are listed but rarely/never run. All levels up to $5/10 have at least 20, perhaps more, tables running day and night. Micro limits, up to $0.10/0.20 had over 200 ongoing tables, both full ring and shorthanded just now, on this a Wednesday afternoon. The limit section is also very busy. While games up to $300/600 are offered, most of the action takes place on the $0.02/0.04 - $5/10 tables with some hundred or so ongoing games. You'll also find a good representation of PL Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo games from $0.01/0.02 to $3/6 running 24/7. The stud lobby is practically dead but this seems to be standard for many poker sites nowadays, sadly enough. The Expekt Poker MTTs selection is very good, quite frankly one of the better not counting the bigger poker rooms. Whether you like to play cheap freezeouts or more expensive rebuy ones, you'll have so many tournaments to choose from here. Speed and rebuy MTTs with buy-ins from $1 to $25 run several times a day, tournaments with guaranteed prize pools between $1K and $25K just as often. Qualifiers to bigger events, both multi and single table ones take place ever so often, check the satellite lobbys frequently. Regular STTs from 10c to $100 are easy to find, there's a table starting every minute or so.
» Click here to play Expekt Poker »Expekt's current welcome bonus is 100% up to $600 plus a few freeroll tournament tickets. For every 600 Frequent Player Points (FPPs) accumulated you'll recieve $5, see webpage for the rather complex info on how to calculate FPPs. I can tell you this much, you will have to play some 10,000 raked hands or so at lower limits in order to clear the full $600, so only you can determine if this bonus is a good one or not. If you play higher limits such as $1/2 NL/PL or $2/4 FL or above, this bonus is doable but far from great. Reloads occur, often with exactly the same conditions attached. Customer service is good, Expekt offers english-speaking email support around the clock and questions are always answered within a few hours. Support in other languages such as Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish and other, is available during office hours. There is no telephone support that I know of, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Expekt does not offer nearly as many deposit option as I think are required by a large poker/bookmaker/casino
institution but nevertheless, these are the approved methods: Neteller, Credit Card, Moneybookers, Bank
Transfer and Gift Voucher(special). Cashouts to Neteller, and you will have to have used it to deposit,
are decent, 1-2 days. Withdrawals to bank account/VISA are fast, somewhere between 3-5 bank days in general.
If you like to play small-mid stakes NL, FL or Omaha ring games, this is a good place for you. Traffic is
high and you will always find an open table. Tournament players will also like it here, simply because the
good selection and variety. With a better welcome bonus, Expekt Poker would be rated higher. Now it will
have to settle for 3.5 stars.
