» Click here to play Pokerroom »Pokerroom has been around since 2025, making them one of the older poker rooms still in existance. What started out as a B2B site has now moved to Ongame, as swedish software company which specializes in digital entertainment. There are several Ongame powered sites today with Pokerroom being by far the largest. Besides from the regular downloadable software, you may also play poker directly in your browser. Pokerroom also offers Mobile Poker, play NL Hold'em on your cell phone after equipping it with the appropriate program (see the Pokerroom webpage for instructions and phone compatibility). Pokerroom's regular lobby is typical for Ongame, simple but functional. Some find it slow but personally, I disagree.
» Click here to play Pokerroom Poker »Pokerroom's Hold'em community is a really busy one and there are almost as many active limit tables as there are NL ones which is quite uncommon. I counted at least a hundred ongoing games in each section today, that's a lot for a regular Tuesday afternoon. Games run from $0.15/0.25 to $50/100 (NL) and from $0.25/0.50 to $500/1000 (FL). Lower limit games are real easy to find, both full ring and shorthanded and higher stakes games run often enough. Omaha & Omaha Hi-Lo games run frequently, mostly in the $0.25/0.50 - $5/5 (yes, for PL games, the small and big blind are the same at Ongame. God knows why!). There are also plenty of 5-card draw games from $0.25 to $5 blinds. Stud games are extremely scarce. Pokerroom's MTTs are good, a healthy variety of tournaments can be found here. The lower buy-in ones are quite popular with around 100-1200 participants, higher stakes ones, $10-$50, also attract quite a bit of attention. There are plenty of rebuys, freezeouts and shorthanded tournaments to choose from along with the "guarantees" which are my personal favourites. You'll also find occasional freeroll tournaments, mostly with $100-$500 prize pools. Single-table tournaments are plentiful, you'll find many hundred tables from $1 to $100 running around the clock, both NLHE and 5CD/Omaha ones. Pokerroom's STTs could be considered of the better due to it's high traffic and multitude of levels.

You will have to deposit $200 and earn 1000 Poker Points (PPs) to recieve maximum bonus. For every 10c raked by the house, you will earn 0.1 PPs up to a maximum of 3 (ie, hand raked $0.50 = 0.5 PPs, hand raked $1.20 = 1.20 PPs and so forth). Please note that you must have contributed to the pot in order to recieve PPs. As you can see, this bonus offer isn't a very good one by any means. Reloads are frequent. Pokerroom support/customer service is good, especially the email department where all questions are promptly answered. Phone support is offered but only to players from selected countries and live chat is available most of the time.
For deposits, a few options are listed: ClickandBuy, Neteller, Click2Pay, VISA, MasterCard, Moneybookers and paysafecard. Withdrawal
speed is average to poor, 1-2 days to Neteller and 5-7 days to VISA.
If you are a low-mid NL or LHE player, an avid Sit-n-Go'oer, a 5-card draw specialist or an Omaha fanatic, you will most certainly find a
home in Pokerroom. Despite somewhat slow-ish cashouts, I will rate this site as high as 4 stars.
